SafeContractor

We have been audited and approved by the National Britannia 'SafeContractor' Scheme. 'SafeContractor' is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers.

Under the CDM Regulations, clients have a legal obligation to ensure that external contractors and service providers working on their premises operate in a safe way. Therefore it is necessary to assess contractors health & safety arrangements and increasingly this is being carried out through 'Safecontractor'.

Constructionline - Gold Member - Reg. No. 45982

We are also members of Constructionline, which is the Government's national register for contractors, consultants and suppliers. Constructionline provide the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references and other areas. In order to achieve this accreditation, our companies credentials were assessed for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities amongst many others. 

BESCA - British Engineering Services Competent Assessment

BESCA acts as an independent assessment and certification body for the building services industry.

The BESA Competence Assessment Scheme verifies a BESA member's compliance to industry standards, demonstrating commercial capability, workforce commitment and technical competence.

The Competence Assessment Scheme process showcases BESA member's competence against industry standards including PAS 91:2013 for Construction Pre-Qualification and PAS 2030/2031:2017 for energy efficiency measures.

REFCOM - ELITE MEMBER - Reg. No. 144

Refcom is the register of companies competent to handle refrigerants in the UK. To be registered a company must be environmentally aware and operate entirely in compliance with current legislation. Their operatives must be suitably trained and competent to carry out their work in accordance with Company procedures. The REFCOM scheme sets high professional standards recognised by The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board ACRIB and the RAC Industry. Our company has been assessed and deemed to be of the highest standard, therefore achieving the REFCOM elite status. 

BESA - The Building Engineering Services Association

BESA represents its members in order to act as a voice representing the best interests of firms active within the built environment at a regional and enviromental level. BESA offers specialist support services, training courses and advice. BESA ensures our staff are well trained and competent for their roles.

ISO 9001 registration since 1993 applicable to design, production, installation and servicing of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems.

Certificate of registration under the control of pollution (amendment) act 1989.

Training

Our apprentices are offered day release to undertake NVQ level 2 and 3 which covers a comprehensive range of skills including safe handling of refrigerants, mechanical and electrical rudiments of both refrigeration and air conditioning in accordance with the City and Guilds and Construction Industry Training Board standards.

Continual product training is given to our engineers who are kept up to date with all aspects of manufacaturer’s equipment and technical procedures with regard to both service/ maintenance of existing and installation of new equipment.
